Connect ModletHub to Claude Code

Change app

Run these commands in your terminal (Terminal on a Mac, PowerShell or Windows Terminal on Windows), not in a chat. They need Claude Code installed: Claude Code setup guide (opens in a new tab).

  1. Step 1: Check what’s already set up

    claude mcp list

If modlethub is listed with https://modlethub.com/api/mcp, skip to step 3.

If it shows a different address, remove it from its existing scope first, then continue:

    claude mcp remove modlethub
  2. Step 2: Add ModletHub

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http modlethub https://modlethub.com/api/mcp

User scope makes ModletHub available in every project or folder. Run claude mcp list again. You should see:

    modlethub: https://modlethub.com/api/mcp (HTTP) - ✔ Connected
  3. Step 3: Sign in

    claude mcp login modlethub

Your browser opens ModletHub. Sign in, review the requested access and choose Allow connection. You can also type /mcp in Claude Code, choose modlethub, then Authenticate. Connected only means Claude Code can reach ModletHub, not that you have signed in.

Once it’s connected, start with:

Help me turn a process I know into a reusable ModletHub workflow. Ask me what it is and how I do it, or use a process we’ve already worked through together. Include the steps, examples and materials someone would need to follow it. Use only content I have permission to share; leave out client names, confidential information and secrets. Ask me about anything missing, then show me the draft before saving it.
